Will this kit work if my cat is pooping outside the litter box too?
In many cases, this kit will also work to prevent pooping accidents. However, if your cat has a medical issue like diarrhea, irritable bowel disease or chronic colitis he may need medical help to achieve complete control.
What if my cat is still having some urinary accidents after I use the kit?
This kit is very effective, however, not every cat will respond completely. There are a couple of reasons why. Firstly, if the urinary accidents have gone of for quite some time, then it has likely become a habit for your cat and the behavior is harder to retrain. Secondly, the kit is designed mainly for cats with behavioral issues (greater than 70% of the time). If your cat is has medical problems such as a urinary tract infection, feline interstitial cystitis, or arthritis, it will be necessary to get veterinary help to completely resolve accidents. That said, most people notice their cat’s urinary problems will greatly improve if not completely resolve using this kit.
What if my cat is doing this out of spite?
Cats are not emotional creatures like we are. We like to attribute our feelings to cats to try and better understand them. That’s called anthropomorphism. Cat’s urinate outside of the litter box to communicate something, and usually it’s a cry for help. It likely that your cat is anxious, afraid, or painful and it is trying to tell you in the only way it knows how. If you think your cat is having “accidents” to be spiteful then you will be angry with your cat and your interactions might be negative.
